Has joined St Albans City in the National League south on loan. I wonder why the club chooses to loan out so many of our Academy youngsters to NL south teams? Seems to me that they are unlikely to progress greatly at that level and if we are serious about them coming back to us as first team candidates we should be trying to get them to NL or L2 level clubs.

They will be given the chance to toughen up a bit playing against men’s teams . If they were better players they wouldn’t be playing for us but loaned out to teams like us .

I’ve seen the lad play and he is a unit. He is big, strong, quick and is a leftie. I like what I’ve seen of him so far. He will do well at that level and I see him in time braking through to the first team.

I think he may have figured in our pre-season game against St. Albans.

He gotta start somewhere, so why not there, don't pitch them in at too higher a level, could put them back a bit, then we gotta be patient why'll they recover

NLS is a decent standard of football and the games are fought as hard as any league game.

At NLS level more chance of being a starter. No point going to NL or above if they sit on the bench.
