Dom Ball.
Went on wiki and some wag has already written thisβ¦.
On September 10th, Ball unfortunately ruined his career by signing for relegation-bound Leyton Orient F.C..

So I guess we have replaced El Miz after all. Hopefully. Donβt bank on it. Only played 10 games last season for Ipswich due a serious injury.

Experienced player who should provide a bit of an anchor in midfield. Decent signing but not sure where it leaves Warrington in the pecking order?π

Experienced player who should provide a bit of an anchor in midfield. Decent signing but not sure where it leaves Warrington in the pecking order?π I read somewhere that Warrington got a knee injury and if true then could be why Warrington left Everton now seems a similar story with this new signing Dominic Ball. So many footballers get knee injuries, can sometimes be career ending.
''Ball joined Ipswich Town on 1 June 2022 on a two-year deal after the expiration of his contract with Queens Park Rangers. In November 2022, a ruptured meniscus ruled Ball out for a large part of the 2022β23 season. On 3 June 2023, Ipswich announced he would be leaving in the summer when his contract expired. On September 10th signed for Leyton Orient F.C
For ruptured meniscus in layman language ''Ruptured Knee cartilage'' as I now know having lost half my left knee cartilage in ruptured knee accident, cartilages do not regrow and repair themselves, so not good news to get cartilage damage to your knee.

Cult hero among the QPR fans. Very hard working. That was before he got this bad knee injury and knee injury's change everything, as I full well know myself !! Let us hope the club has checked his fitness thoroughly to make sure that he is up to playing 90 minutes of football before signing him.

Perhaps providing the strength and experience in mid-field we so badly lack.

Perhaps providing the strength and experience in mid-field we so badly lack. Yes but like your favourite Jordan Graham and previously Callum Reilly, no good being good players if they are injury prone and nearing the end of their careers.
Let us really hope that this time it comes off signing a player with injury problems.

Seems like just what we needed, we're crying out for an actual signing and not a loan one.
Experienced in midfield. Defensive midfielder.
This could be the catalyst for our season. Buzzing on this one.
