The pressure is on Slade big time, I don't think the Italians will give him much slack. His days my be numbered.

I agree crusade.
New owners look big time, I am not sure Slade is their type of man. He doesn't even wear an expensive suit on the touchline.

As you say, for Slade failure is not a option, he will be waking up with a horses head next to him.

Failure is not an option for any Manager
I would like to think that our new owners give Slade a fair chance to get the team ticking over top 6 place by October otherwise he's sacked would be a stupid decision to make in my opinion
Hearn didn't sack Slade when we had that awful season and was rewarded with a 7th place and a play off final
Maybe Mr Waste disposal and his binmen can learn something from this

[ As I said Money doesn't necessarily bring success so to a sack a manager after roughly 10 games is just absolute ludicrous in my eyes And who's to say a new Manager would /could do any better And please enlighten me but bar the extra wage bill what other money has the new owner put in so far

You forgot Accrington Stanley and Barnet in that list Kbola
Me the voice of doom ? Far from it I'm saying Slade etc should be given a fair crack of the whip 10 or so games proves nothing
Nobody knows how Mr Waste Disposal will turn out yep he could be a good un or he could turn out to be another Vincent Tann
I think some people are blinded by the fact he has a shed load of money and that he will be the new messiah at Brisbane Road
Well the original Messiah was crucified by the Ronans let's see what happens with this one
I still remain very sceptical about this whole takeover thing
This Club has been in my blood since I was 8 years old and I obviously want the best for it but is Mr Waste Disposal the right person time will tell I guess

We all know Slade is a great manager but and its a big but do the Italians, if Orient are not in the top 6 by the end of November I think Slade could be on his way. Becheeti has serious money rumour has it that this week he splashed out £20 million on a pub in Mayfair. This is a different Orient get used to it.

I think Slade deserves his chance to make Leyton Orient a success. I think he's the most positive manager I have seen in my lifetime. I think he will be able to mount a serious challenge for promotion. After that, will he be able to handle the Championship if that's where we end up?

kbola: It might spell the end of little old Orient with its s***e football and floods of abuse. I'm a little sad about that, but I am definitely excited to see how far we can go with the proper funding.
No more Alex Inglethorpes. *sobs*
garynos1964: I think we have to get it into proportion. I was saying this to some supporters at QPR - drop enough money and you'll get out of league one, but to get out of the championship takes more than money. It takes tactics and team cohesion. You can have brilliant players but if they won't play together you'll just be another Blackpool.

No need to worry that we'll see an end to moaning or floods of abuse about the players and football. That'll be with us even if we win the Champions League.

That'll be with us even if we win the Champions League. *John Sitton goes down injured* "More Gel Sits!" *Billy Beal passes another square ball* "Billy Beal?! More like Billy the f***ing crab!" *To the tune of "That's Amoré" "When the ball hits the net, You are sure, you can bet, Not Pinamonte, When the ball's in the box You can see he's run right up his arse, When the ball's in the goal, You'll know deep in your soul Not Pinamonte, Who's the Bee on the free, it's the prat that they call Pinamonte! Nooott Pinamoooonteeeeeee" A few of my faves over the years.
