Legzdins 8 - impressed with him, definately no1. Omosuzi - 8 Great performance at RB, made some crucial blocks and tackles Baudry 7 - Generally good but made a few errors CLarke 7 - Solid as ever Lowry 7 - Did well at LB Pritchard 8 - This guy is great and plays with passion James 7 - Good penalty, will play next season Vincelot 6 - Quiet game, didn't take by scruff of neck as he does Batt 5 - Touch abandoned him Dagnall 7- good runs, almost got in a few times Mooney 6 - better but dropped too deep and should have scored with his chance Mcanuff (S) 7 - Tempted us with what he can do, ran through the whole defence at one point Lisbie (S) 7 - Good performance and showed great character to win pen. Cox (S) 8 - Team missed him when not playing Bartley (S) 7 - Impressed when came on, dominated midfield and showed good touches Sawyer (S) 7 - Did well for 30 mins but hopefully back up LB Simpson (S) 6 - Showed some promise but needs some more match practice

I know Baudry made some mistakes today but if he doesn't start the season well Cuthbert is waiting in the wings.

When all are fit i would go with.
Lowry Clarke Cuthbert Omozusi
It's a tough choice though.
We have good cover as well with Lowry,Cuthbert and Omozusi covering other positions and Sawyer if needed.

James 7 Good Penalty will play next season Is he not good enough for this season then haha Bartley 7 He did okish but for the big lump he is the Ipswich no 11 who is about the same size as Cox knocked Bartley off the ball with such ease several times he needs to man up and use that frame of his better I give him a 5 Baudry as good as he can be often over elaborates and last season it cost us dearly in a few games he did it again several times today time for the coaching staff to have a word in his shell like I give him 5 as well

I wasn't at the game but I'm glad Legzdins had a good game; I was far from impressed with Woods at QPR, what with his fumbling handling of crosses and the first goal that he definitely should have done better with. Can I ask where Pritchard played?

Can I ask where Pritchard played? he played central midfield today .he had a sound game.when we signed him I got in contact with my mate john who supports Charlton.he said when Charlton up from league1 three years ago .he said Pritchard was the engine room of the midfield.

Can I ask where Pritchard played? Pritchard was at right midfield. And I agree, Woods played himself into back up against QPR

I think we have to get Jobi and Jay simpson as fit as soon as possible for them to be effective for September and probably the same for Henderson. They are no way near fitness yet and I can almost guarantee they will not start the first 2-3 league games unless injuries force them in. Job to know where Pritchard will play or fit in but I like him and hope he sees more of the ball than he did against a classy but uncompromising Ipswich side. Elliot is not an attacking fullback and looked out of it in the first half playing up high almost midfield, much better second half.Baudry made too many mistakes for me in this game and he will have better but I would start scott Cuthbert in the first game.Adam Legs MOM for me but could be more dominant with the crosses for his size. Fans go over the top a bit about McANUF.He didn't take on the whole Ipswich defence,he took on their C/H and put in a bad cross at the end of it and didn't have the energy to get back( I could hear him panting from where I was),then he moved to the right and overhit a cross for a goal kick. Not earth shattering but will get better.Who will eventually lose his place to him I wonder.

Right Mid, Centre Mid, Right FB, It seems Pritchard can play almost anywhere and have a positive contribution. I admit, when Slade threw him to the full back position against QPR I had my doubts, but in the end he really impressed. I'm glad we have someone of his calibre on the wing. Moses who?
maylands0s: I think Vincelot's days as a CM are numbered. Saying that, he really impressed me when he dropped back to centre half so maybe there's a place for him if Baudry isn't impressing.

Are you serious, vincelot is the most influential player we have. He would be my first name on the teamsheet. He is essential to protect the back 4, although slade might have a different role in mind because he has been pushing up into the opposing box.

He wins possession, no doubt. He also loses possession. I think he'd do better at CD.

We have good cover as well with Lowry,Cuthbert and Omozusi covering other positions and Sawyer if needed. i agree baudry must be left out he is still full of self pity for his penalty miss at Wembley .he needs to sit on the bench and a few games in the reserves.and when he has got his mind right .then we phase him back in .no mr nice guy we cannot afford to carry passengers bad for morale.
