Have they scored for Bristol Rovers? Shaq came off the bench for 15 mins in their last defeat. Ruel assisted Scott Sinclair in the defeat before being subbed himself at 75.

Rovers fans not happy with Matt Taylor. No upturn this season after plenty of investment. Won’t expect them to get better until the manager is changed

Ruel had a slow start missing the first few games due some sort of injury, cannot recall what it was and returned quicker than expected. Unlike many on both forums, I liked Ruel and was sad he left the Os. He was a happy young man and played to the best of his ability. Even so, many fans forever put him down despite him rarely missing games due to injury's, working hard closing down defenders, as Kelman does now and also being our top goal scorer. I think we shall miss his goal scoring ability this season. Other than the assist at the weekend, pretty sure that Ruel has had at least one other assist for Rovers in the league this season. I would have loved Shaq Forde to have come back to the Os this season, either on a permanent basis or on loan.

Neither are here so I couldn't care less what happens to either of them this season.

For whatever reason, as you say. ''He drifted way off his game toward the end of last season'' Perhaps his fitness dropped off after his efforts in the previous games. Perhaps he thought he had proved himself as a player on loan, who knows but he did show that he is a young player with the ability to improve and have a career as a league one footballer or maybe an even higher level.

I like anyone who got close range goals,Ruel scored spectacular goals which most times win the game. We like all our lads to succeed after being with us for so long, but the better they get you know they ain't gonna stay.

I'd have taken him back, as he would have a years more experience and strength and hopefully be able to kick on further. It wasn't to be so on we go.

Richie seems to get the best out of his own players.
