Good team kbola. The thing is now is that there will be quality players missing out this season. where as last season our team picked it self.

GK//LEGDZINS
LB//LOWRY CB//CLARKE CB//VINCELOT RB//OMOSUZI
LM//COX CM//MCANUFF CM//JAMES RM//PRITCHARD
ST//DAGNALL ST//MOONEY
Assuming everyone's fit, but my bet would be that McAnuff wouldn't be. I think Mooney deserves to be given the chance to deliver as he did last season. If he doesn't create, well, then we need to start looking at Simpson, Henderson or Lisbie. Henderson seems to push a type of play I don't like to see, long speculative crossing and emphasis on route one football. I'd say he's going to be more of an asset when we need to change a game, but I wouldn't like to push that as a starting tactic. Simpson - who knows what his form will be like, he's had a s*** couple of seasons but has taken a step down, he's unknown at this stage. Lisbie doesn't have the legs to be in the starting lineup, but I like his experience and can see him being a 30-45min player.
One thing I'm sad about in the over-subscription of the midfield is Batt. The man worked his arse off at QPR and caused real problems in his role as RAM. I'd like to see more of him there, so maybe he will challenge for Pritchard's position. I think he'll start in the opening few games while McAnuff is on the treadmill.
***EDIT*** Alternative Midfield:
LM//COX CM//MCANUFF CM//PRITCHARD RM//BATT
Maybe he'd edge James out. Although I do like James. It's a good problem to have!

Vincelot at centre back in front of Baudry and Cuthbert that's a big call.

Vincelot at centre back in front of Baudry and Cuthbert that's a big call. I know, but I was impressed with him there at QPR. He stabilised the defence, made key tackles, and in that position we are able to mitigate his habit of running up his own arse and losing the ball. I like him in that role, I'm not sure if he'd be tactically ready for it, but with the competition hotting up in midfield and our relatively weak centre defence, I'd like to see him trained up for it. Maybe it's a pipeline job rather than something to throw in at the beginning of the season.

He played there a few times in the 12/13 season and looked pretty impressive.

I know, damn, I don't know how to include Pritchard because he deserves to start after the pre season. Drop James or a striker and play five in midfield? Drop McAnuff or Cox - seems unthinkable. Ha ha it's a nice problem for Slade to have

I hope it's a problem Slade can handle.

He can ask the owner or Sporting Director to pick the team for him.
Don't worry if Slade gets it wrong I am sure he will be told pretty quickly or he can start packing his bags.

I think it will be the same team as last year with a change of goalkeeper and Pritchard for moses if all are fit. If Cuthbert is out then Lowrey. I don't think any of the newbies are fit enough to play 90min except Pritchard. Not his greatest fan, but given his current form I don't think james can be dropped for Pritchard.
