I’m going to start with a Pratley. Weeks ago I said on here get him in the team and we will win. Funny enough he gets put in the team and we win, there is no coincidence that happens. What I saw from him was a man on a mission, to show the boss he wants it, that he still has enough to warrant a place and to cover every blade of grass in helping the team to get a win. I love the geezer, he never gives less than 100%, he cares and at 39/40 still has that desire something winners never lose no matter what they do in life.
Graham has pulled his hamstring. jD is injured, Theo the surgeon has said about another five weeks till he’s back as he doesn’t need another operation.
Thanks Ling for his support and calls us out us fans for saying stuff.

I was impressed with Powell tonight and Richie says we tried to sign him this summer. I don’t recall him being mentioned on here, but I thought he is a good player. Anyone here this one previously?

Not sure I heard it as a ‘calling out’. More just a comment on how things are. When results aren’t going well, there’s always (well, very often) grumbling in the fanbase and the players just have to shut that out and stay positive and confident. I read it as just a comment on what he sees as an unfortunate aspect of how football is rather than any specific criticism.

Relief clearly evident in Ritchie's voice. Quite apart from our poor results, doubtless some family pressures with his move south and daughter's schooling.

It was an awful first half,at times it looked just above Sunday league level..Big improvement in the second half and with two poor teams on show,we just about deserved that win.. Let’s hope it give the team that bit of confidence for Wycombe 🤞🏾

Nevertheless 3 important points and very welcome before a tough away game at Wycombe.

I think Richie is saying that he gets the fans frustration and the players and staff feel it too, but they are not immune to criticism ( and that it hurts),but that they are all looking at themselves, him included to see what they can do better. He wants us as fans to give the team some love and to try not to destroy their confidence, as nobody will benefit if that happens.

It was shockingly poor. Easy to forget sometimes how far we have come, even when we look scrappy at times.

He wants us as fans to give the team some love and to try not to destroy their confidence, as nobody will benefit if that happens. We all understand the mechanics and to be honest the fans in general are supportive of everything the management and players do. But there have been times when the team just don't deserve it. It’s a two way street. Richie is entitled to his opinions as are fans.
