Richie is very much about boosting players confidence. So much so that I tend to take what he says about players, and games to a degree, as little more than a PR exercise. It’s a decent position to adopt but it only works so much. If you listen too much to Richie, bar a couple of spells we should be the amongst the leagues top scorers and fighting it out at the top. Neither being remotely close to reality. Bit you cannot fault he efforts. |
