He obviously knows the game but just like the Post Match Interview after Stevenage and generally he hardly ever acknowledges or gives any credit to the opposition. He also always focuses on a penalty he should of gained.

Don’t you think you’re all hypocrites , RW does exactly the same . Surely we’ve all been around enough to recognise bulls*** which is what all managers /coaches seem to do . Stop bleeting and get on and enjoy it while you can .

Interviews with your own media team tend to be very soft even after a bad performance. Here Evans has a real swipe at Rotherham's media person who would normally be speen as a friend not foe. RW may tease Dave Victor occasionally but Evans absolutely bristled with what seemed a straightforward question about how a team sets up.
Looking at the Rotherham forum there seems to be a big disconnect between Evans and the fans despite his previous successes there. Evans reverted to type and blamed the ref but
I thought it was one of the best refereeing displays at the O's for a while. Allowed the game to flow where possible, good use of advantage in one instance before recalling for an O's free kick. The players knew he in control of the match.

Listen to RW post-match interviews he often compliments the opposition manage / set up / a player(s) and most of all the other team's performance. Thus, he is more generous than Evans. |

Trying to build confidence in the team, his style and no bad thing. We all take that harmless stuff with a pinch of salt. Bulls***? Sometimes. Bias, sometimes. He has a sense of humour. And of course the occasional dig at officials, but sometimes compliments them. he is often complimentary about opposing managers and the good job they’ve done and opposing teams. And I don’t think I’ve ever seen him being rude to people. Him and Evans, chalk and cheese. |

As soon as the ref gets near he points to him, says something then points down the tunnel and walks in  He couldn't bother to walk over to his own fans, but could march down the tunnel at speed when there's someone to shout at. Funny for us but would hate that if he managed us, raging at the officials every defeat |

A great record as a manager in the lower leagues, no denying. But I definitely would never want him at Brisbane Road. Easy to dislike. And I do. That was a satisfying win and that he moans about it, so much the nicer. Not that I’m the vindictive type!

Apparently Evans is now in trouble with the Rotherham Board as a result of this interview with Radio Sheffield. I suspect recent results have also played a part!🤔
