In respect of our well documented difficulties at the striker position I mentioned elsewhere on here that Martyn Waghorn is available as a free agent. It seems another who was available- Boovarsson - has left Bolton Wanderers and signed a short term deal at Wrexham. Bodvarsson was on 6k a week at Bolton...Waghorn on 4.9k at Derby.... how hard are they looking ? probably very hard... but with a limited budget..

If they are free agents, they are not earning at all. So past wages is no guarantee of future earnings. The point holds good. Decent players need to play and being unemployed may reduce their expectations as well as offer them the opportunity to reignite their earnings potential. Short term deal with clauses could be win-win. |
