Right Now BBC World Service Radio because temporarily angelradio.co.uk has gone off line due to a BT transmission fault.

Cars going above 20 MPH along my short road with roaring engines using it as a rat run. Used to have the radio on all day every day.Adrian Durham and "Goughie" spoilt Talk Sport for me,Loved my health is not in question Mike Dickin and Jimmy the Whale on the 10pm slot. Now listen to Classic FM but not their twisted news.I listen to Classic FM less and less as far too much film music played. Will probably move to Radio 3 soon. But there again I just might. Interestingly I moved to Radio Three from Classic FM about five years ago. I got bored of the format and the lack of variety of music. I reckon they only play about 300 different pieces of music all day, all night, reflecting their annual Top Three Hundred readers poll. The Breakfast Show was probably my favourite with the playing of the Monty Python theme tune every Friday when someone retired after a long career, notably school teachers. Radio Three is a class better. I know a lot of it isn't classical, but the variety just makes almost every programme interesting. My favourites are, again, the breakfast show with Petroc Trelawny, Essential Classics with Georgia Mann and occasionally In Tune, the drive-home show, but Sean Rafferty rattles on too much. There's also great wierd stuff on Night Tracks which remind me of my student days. My radio is on 24 hours and I listen to it whenever I'm in my van.

One of the things the team asked for in the office was a radio, so I duly purchased an Alexa and anyone can request a radio station or muscic of their choice. Happy days!
Until the people who made the most noise about getting one started complaining about having one!! You can't make this stuff up!
So if I walk in the office and its not on, I say good morning to everyone and then the immortal line "Alexa play..." 😆😆😆

Just been listening to a vinyl compilation album entitled "More Hits - The Shadows". Purchased in the early 1970s and still in remarkably good condition, it features the singles from 1963 to 1965, superbly clear analogue recording and one of the favourites of my extensive collection
