I am listening to Joe Rogan speaking with Elon Musk. It's pretty interesting in what they speak of.
Rights, privacy, politics, media suppression, legal action against Space X.
They both agree that unless Trump wins then this will be the last election ever thought in the USA. The land of freedom and opportunity will have died. In California you can vote and its against the law to prove who you are! So anyone can pretend to be anyone! This is madness!!
They said the government can walk in your house and kill your pet. Not sure what has happened there, but that sounds brutal.
Currently 2 hours in got another 30 mins to go.

I listen to all sorts of stuff, very mood dependent. Now with a decent of sorts sound system the Danish National Orchestra are something else. ELO another favourite. But I love the stones and the Who. Their music really stands the test of time. Definitely not the Beatles.
Tinnitus irritates, especially high pitch sounds, in the car music and radio is just background noise.
Get to as many theatre musicals as I can but coming towards Christmas the Panto season kicks in. Never seen a Pantomime, other that at Brisbane Road. 😳😳😳😳

Cars going above 20 MPH along my short road with roaring engines using it as a rat run.
Used to have the radio on all day every day.Adrian Durham and "Goughie" spoilt Talk Sport for me,Loved my health is not in question Mike Dickin and Jimmy the Whale on the 10pm slot.
Now listen to Classic FM but not their twisted news.I listen to Classic FM less and less as far too much film music played.Will probably move to Radio 3 soon.But there again I just might.

Oh redshank, you don’t like film music! Some of it is really good (some not so). I love the Danish National doing the Sergio Leone/Ennio Morricone spaghetti western music. Especially the use of instruments not normally heard. Helps if you like the films, the matching of the film with the music is excellent. all on YouTube. Think I’ll have a listen again right now. |

I like a lot of film tracks,what I do not like is film music that is not the film track.The Good the Bad and the Ugly is great with the guitar, human voices and orchestra.Chariots of fire is another,the opening sounds and the rest of the music from the sound track is a joy.The toned down orchestra version takes that away.Reminds me of Woolworths Embassy records versions of top ten hits. |
