I have asked nicely, I have explained why that comment is not only insulting but can be very hurtful to a number of people. Getting back to the interview, it is a bit concerning that according to RW, “ the team picks itself” on Saturday. If that’s the case it sounds like once again there could be a number of square pegs in round holes.🫤

Given our squad depth and injuries I doubt RW is flush with options. He is in a very difficult position. Limited choice, little competition for places and loans who will be gone in 7 months irrespective of what happens to us. Not a great combination. He tries hard with the cards he has been dealt. But the cracks are showing. As for supporters. I don’t believe for one second people pay to travel and watch with the intention of not supporting the team. Why would they? It’s cause and effect. The cause being poor on field results and the effect is disgruntled supporters. The solution is clear. |

When teams are struggling do players really want to play? Do loan players really have the stomach for a fight? Different if the team are doing well. Maylands makes a valid point. But after 12 games? Could be. |
