We don’t have a small squad. 25 players plus 7 loaned out makes 32 pretty good. Add to that 12 in backroom roles. Wrong to confuse size with depth, quality and experience.
He seems very sensitive right now, defensive. Whether that’s post match interviews or radio questions. I really wish he had just enjoyed the moment. Don’t get many so enjoy them when they come along. Don’t think many of us question the quality of the core group. Pretty impressive 3 goals came the way they did too. Refreshing. A good day.

I must say that RW seemed to be trying to settle a few scores with his critics in the interview which I think was a bit unnecessary tbh. Also slightly surprised to hear him admit - this early at least- that the play offs are out of reach this season. It’s very honest but perhaps should have been kept behind closed doors for the time being , especially as I’m sure most fans are not contemplating a tilt at promotion ? Maybe it’s a double bluff?

We've had a poor start but we're in early November and only ten points off the play off places. I think it's way too early to write us off yet. If we click into gear and put a string of results together then we'll be right up there.

Sure injuries hit, But if our squad contains players who we have brought in but not ready to play, you cannot use that as an excuse. We have loaned out players with 700+ league games experience too. As for criticism, if it’s deserved then tough. We are 5th from bottom, I’d say it’s justified. If players ignore his instructions I say it’s very justified. If he don’t like it, change it on the field. Plenty of praise today. |

Our model is to try and develop talent, so bringing them up to speed will always impact us. We’ve loaned players like Moncur and Pigott out because they don’t fit what Richie wants. When Richie says he feels we should be 4/5 pts better off, I get where he’s coming from. Yesterday we picked up 3pts, but if Blackpool had their shooting boots on, we could easily have dropped points. We may be 5th from bottom but could so easily be mid table, so is all the criticism he gets justified, or is it armchair critics who’ve watched a lot of football, who need to take a reality check and realise producing a winning team in any league with limited resources isn’t as easy as they make out. |

Pratley is amazing , I wish we would have signed a marquee player at the beginning of the season ,someone like Lisbie old head type of player but still loads to give but it seems RW doesn’t want old heads ! |

I think it's more to get some pressure off the backs of the players and staff so I can appreciate this a lot. No need to even get them thinking about that at the moment, lets just string a bit of good form together first |
