Well, starting 11 seems pretty set for Stevenage. Nobody who wasn't in on Saturday seems to care enough to try other than maybe Kelman

And so we should take the competition seriously to progress. We need this competition to give our squad players a competitive run out. They definitely need it. I can't see them improving by the training ground alone and they've not at the standard to start (yet).

8 goals in the last 3 games. Scoring machine. All 3 main strikers with goals. Moving on in two cup competitions and points in the league. Happy days.

Just got up to watch the 2nd half. Not an impressive performance. Very passive and low energy. Jack Currie the only one playing well. From what I gather we were better in the first half at least and a win is the important thing.
Dan A’s miss was epic though. Glad he was able to make amends so quickly.

2 hours of my life I won’t get back. Don’t think I’ve ever felt so anticlimactic whilst watching us win. Boring and played like a league 2 team. A wins a win but wow that was poor.

We played well in the first 30 minutes but their goal boosted them and made us nervy. The Dan A miss was a shocker but he made up for it well. Cup game, needed a win and we got a win. Not much else matters. Job done. |
