Why was Hemming standing so far off his line? 1:2 Another bad game for Hemings.To far off his line for their goal. Thumbles a couple of weak shots. His kicking was scrappy.I was nervous every time a cross came into our box.our defence don’t seem to have any confidence in him. |

The way Mk play the ball about at the back turns me off football and when orient do the same in some matches it really frustrates me
I assume the football coaching books must drill that into coaches but I also recently watched a you tube of Sam Allardyce and it was along the lines of ; Not tippy tappy football and he says simply he was not coached that way and others weren’t either
I hope football changes and that style goes out of fashion before it ruins the game as a spectator sport

2 hours of my life I won’t get back. Don’t think I’ve ever felt so anticlimactic whilst watching us win. Boring and played like a league 2 team. A wins a win but wow that was poor. We played well in the first 30 minutes but their goal boosted them and made us nervy. The Dan A miss was a shocker but he made up for it well. Cup game, needed a win and we got a win. Not much else matters. Job done. I agree with all the latter but I don’t think we played well at the start. They were diabolical. 11 changes from them. 10 kids and Lewington at the back. They couldn’t pass the ball that opening 30. We should have taken them to the absolutely cleaners from there but as you state, it’s a win. |

When is the draw for knockout games taking place? At a guess, next week after Tuesday which is the last group game. Matches w/c 9 December. So seven games in twenty-one days from Stevenage to Burton. |
