So Richie has ruled it out, but I notice our odds have shortened and we are now 12/1 to make the playoffs š¤ Ahead of Stevenage, Northampton, Wigan and Bristol Rovers, plus bottom four. So what do the bookies know, or has someone lumped a tenner on us to distort the odds? š

Iām not a betting man, but if we got another couple of wins on the trot, those odds wouldnāt seem unreasonable.

I canāt believe weāre even entertaining this thread! If thereās anyone on here that thinks weāll finish higher than 6th or 7th from bottom (if not relegated), then Iāll have some of what theyāre taking! I canāt believe Richie even mentioned this, itās like me ruling myself out of marrying Angeline Jolie now sheās got a new bloke!

Seen a lot of league 1 teams this season, NowTV is pretty good tbh, I have to say the standards are nowhere near the hype before the season started. Pretty ordinary in my opinion and much the same as last season. All this talk of it being the toughest league 1 in years!
I donāt think we have got it together this season too often. Our core group are as good as most but those on the periphery have just not been up to it yet. Maybe they will surprise us all in the weeks to come, that would be nice. And I have little confidence January will boost our squad.
All things are possible of course but right now I will be happy with a few more points on the board and a comfortable mid-table position. Something we can consider a successful season.

Last word. You are back. Oh well I thought you had moved to the other board. Nah. I promised not to talk politics on this forum so join in the fun over there. As an aside, I did some research on this last word stuff and itās not true. Feel free to look back, the history is all there. There is another who holds that title. Though I doubt it bothers anyone but you. You use it as a means of censorship of course. Dont work! Not a nice trait.

I couldn't afford a cashbox but I've got a little bank bag the Bakers Arms Barclays customer services man gave me. 40p can go a long way with Orient.

What you say is exactly why I talk the way I do. A good spot. š. My former work environment was one where we were encouraged to voice opinions. Being wrong was accepted and definitely not criticised. The simple reason being the approach precipitated discussion, argument (in a positive way), the end result being the emergence of really good ideas. The objective was not personal ego but collective success. The concept of āno idea is stupidā is hugely liberating and can be massively positive. My āskill contributionā was often that of the realist, the pragmatist. But was really good at helping separate the practical winning ideas from those that waste time and money. A good but really irritating buffer.
