Fantastic summary Thor. Thanks for that.
Have to say I agree with what has been said.

As usual, Mark Devlin had his work cut out. Nigel seemed somewhat more relaxed, it felt like maybe new investment wasn't so far off. He sounded as if he and others were peeved with the player recruitment. As the transmission chose that moment to buffer I didn't manage to catch who the guy Wang was. Herman Wang? He’s known on here as leytonlaureate,if it’s the same Wang. Hi there, yep that's me!

That's good to know, I thought you could possibly have been a potential US investor!'' I'm of the income bracket where I reserve the right to complain about ticket prices, not invest in the club!

I am Ruth from the 'X is toxic' part of the report Thor. Just to clarify, my question, asked on behalf of Orientear, was about the club's social media strategy and potentially migrating to other platforms to run alongside X. George Jones said that we were building up a profile on Bluesky and he further noted that a number of European football teams had already left X although UK clubs were yet to follow suit.
I also asked whether the board directors got any media training because imo their messaging was often contradictory, inconsistent and confusing, especially around financial issues. Mark Devlin acknowledged that in trying to be accessible and open to fans on social media, the messaging could get a bit messy. They are going to have a bit of a rethink on how they handle board comms, without making our comms sanitised and dull.
Re the players, my point was about the abuse they receive on X and how does it impact them. The answer was that it does negatively impact some of them more than others and that in this regard the club provides individual support as needed.
Thanks for the advice but no need to worry. I can cope with the toxicity as I'm a well hard Northerner who doesn't take any ****
Hope that helps.
