I got to give credit to posh they know how to develop players I think Gayle and Assomnalonga have combined 13 million between them in transfers very good return for league 1 players

Thats just insane, credit to Posh for being patient and get such a fee from the superb striker. Feels like we sold Moses for penny when comparing those fees.

Damn it, sounds to me like a great bit of business. They can get in plenty of quality for that type of money. I just hope our old friends in Southend have a decent sell-on clause.

Damn it, sounds to me like a great bit of business. They can get in plenty of quality for that type of money. I just hope our old friends in Southend have a decent sell-on clause. He was only on loan to Southend so they would get nothing cept a bat on the back. |

They buy him for 1-1.5 million and sell him a year later for 5 million.
But on the other hand he was pretty much guaranteed to score goals in league 1, will they be able to replace him ?

I personally don't think he's good enough for the championship, I watched him a fair bit at Southend and I thought he was a very good player and finisher I didn't think he could cut it two divisions higher, he showed last year how easy he was to stop when we played him in the playoffs,

Agree with Aussie that I think he'll struggle in the Championship against better defenders.
Might be proved wrong as he is still relatively young and could improve with better coaching.
As for Peterborough, think they'll be lucky to make top 6 now.
