That simply was not good enough a couple more results and performances like that and Slade could be on his way.

Agreed. He is under big pressure, his decision not to field Bechetti's new signings will not have done him any favours.
Mooney and Lisbie need to be dropped.

Mooney and Lisbie need to be dropped. i agree with you Kbola you don't bring in top quality and stick them on the bench .henderson caused problems as soon as he came on .tuesday night he starts .i won't say this again lisbie is finished he is 36 he is getting slower and slower .he is a 20 minute man now that's the best you get out of him .if slade doent start getting results soon by the start of October we are not in the top 6 then it's time for slade to pack his bags .the owner has spent some big dollars on this guys .if that was me yesterday watching that .seeing the new signings on the bench I would have been enraged .slade needs to get results or it's time for a new man .tuesday night the new boys must start.henderson on one leg is better than lisbie.

Just a thought but maybe the reason some of the new players didn't start is because they aren't match fit yet.

Lisbie has been great in his time at the club but age is showing now. Must start with Henderson(who I hear is on 13k a week)on Tuesday and use Lisbie as a last 20 min man and JPT matches. The Italians are not known for there patience Mr Slade.

Doh do you lot not read pre match reports etc
Henderson Simpson and Mcanuff are still not 100% match fit so that's why there not getting a game from the start
And as for Lisbie huffing and puffing I think most of us would of been the amount of s*** deliveries etc from midfield he had to go and retrieve Mooney was hopeless yesterday there was hardly any wing play players playing out of position etc etc Lisbies not the scapegoat for yesterday apart from Ledgzins the other 10 are guilty of being pants
What has got me though that Chesterfield did what many teams did do last season and play high up the pitch.which our team cannot handle in any shape or form Slade needs to rethink strategy and game plan
Saying that we are 1 game in not 1 game left fighting for survival hopefully it will improve

Slade insists on using this lopside formation of his that just doesn't work no matter who you put in the right side of it, Pritchard was absolute turd there yesterday yet Batt and Macanuff sat on the bench when they probably could have and should have shared the right wing playing time wise.
Mooney will never score unless he actually tries getting in the opposition area and not standing 2 feet from our midfielders, Lisbie, legs gone.

1 GAME IN AND TALK ON HERE ABOUT SACKING SLADE .......UNBELIEVABLE yes unbelievable but Italian chairman are not known for there patience the guy in charge of Leeds asked 38 managers in 22 years at Calgary .so how much longer has slade got if things don't start improving .they must improving as of yesterday .hearn has gone things have changed .for the money this guy has splashed out on new players he wants results .and he wants them yesterday .the clock is ticking mr slade .

Wow. I love all this pressure and slade out and what a big mistake it was not to do this and that. I am tempted to start a ' is it a failure of a season because we didn't go unbeaten until Christmas' thread to see what happens. I am sure spade knows that those players were not fit. Our heroes from last season were not up to it but that does not mean panic stations. I would be happy if we were I. The top 6 by Christmas and were able to push on due to depth of squad and 1 it 2 key signings in January. Come on you mighty O's.

I for one don't want Slade to go anywhere. I am just thinking if we do start badly will the new chairman give him as much time as Hearn did ? Or has he already got someone in mind, like a lot of new chairman do when they take over ? Hearn was fantastic in that respect.

But there is a new guy in town .when the Italians took over at Watford they saved dyche and bought in Zola .at Leeds the Italian there sacked McDermott and bought in hockaday .so you can see a certain patern is appearing here .i think slade has until the dart of October and if results don't improve .then it's time for someone new .it makes you wonder if Marino Milanese hasn't been bought in with that in mind .

Agreed, Baltpie, complete overreaction to start talking about sacking Slade. Let's face it, for experienced O's watchers yesterday's result was always on the cards. Teams take time to gel, particularly Slade's though it has to be said. We've got a bigger and better squad this season but nothing's guaranteed. The difference is that for once in a while we do have the wherewithal to strengthen. It's going to be a very interesting season.
