Did anyone notice the referee use the vanishing spray for the first time on Sunday at the charity shield.He put the ball down and marked it,fair enough,then marched out the ten paces required and then took two paces back to where the defensive wall was,moved them back only about a 10ins and sprayed a line with his foam.The wall could only have been about 8mtrs back by the time he had finished.He did manage to spray over one of the players boots though!
