Fantastic draw, never been to Villa Park. great draw for the os .the last time we played at villa park was back in the early 70s.when we had Laurier Cunningham playing for us .we got beat 1-3 that day .later on in the season we played villa at Brisbane rd .the game was shown on the big match and the os won 1-0 .that was back in 1975 . I know because I was there . |

I've got a feeling our new owner will love this draw,a chance for him to rub shoulders with the high and mighty.It might even present a bit more of a challenge for our so called "Stars" to get properly fit and lift their game. |

Decent tie, last time we drawed a big team I recall we got beat by Everton 5-0 and th supporters bus broke down on the way, it was my first away match, not a great start, let's hope for a better result. Plus villa are s***e anyway.

Fantastic draw, never been to Villa Park. great draw for the os .the last time we played at villa park was back in the early 70s.when we had Laurier Cunningham playing for us .we got beat 1-3 that day .later on in the season we played villa at Brisbane rd .the game was shown on the big match and the os won 1-0 .that was back in 1975 . I know because I was there . I remember that, I was also there. I'm sure that was the match where Ricky Heppolette scored the goal, and on the big match the next day they noticed that he was wearing odd boots. (1 Adidas and the other Puma). I also remember us smashing them 4 nil in the mid seventies. Will always remember when they stopped us going up the the 1st division, the first time I cried after a football match, I was 13. For years afterwards I hated them. |

For years afterwards I hated them. may 1974 1-1draw with villa I was there me and my dad sat in the east stand that night .i remember David Payne who was injured came thru with a message from his hospital bed he was injured .and the os players coming out with bouquets of flowers and giving them to people in the crowd .and the villa spoilt the party ray Graydon sent Goddard the wrong way with the penalty and we were 0-1 down the bullock got us back in the game .and cumbes in the villa goal played like his life depended on it .i never forgive those bastards for that .but the next season villa came to Brisbane rd they were riding high and we done the bastards 1-0 with a Ricky heppolete goal and Lawrie cunningham run rings round the villa defence like they didn't exist good old Lawrie .how we miss him . |
