Interesting yesterday..
Although named on the bench Batt didn't warm-up before kick-off, in fact he ddin't even un-tracksuit himself.
At half-time he didn't come out to have a kick-about and during the second half he wasn't pacing up and down the touchline to limber up.
Yet Slade brought him on at the death for Lisbie.
Can't argue with the decision, because every player was knackered come the end and a bit of pace upfront was needed.
Never seen that happen before though. Wonder how injured he is / was?

I said the same to my boy before the game when he was read out as a sub, where is he ? really strange that he didn't warm up at all before or at half time but still came on. Surely if injured he wouldn't have come on at all even if it was only a few minutes.

He was the only realistic option to bring on. Didn't appear too injured when he came on either.

Think Slade said his hamstring injury flared up a little in training on friday, so I presume he was told not to possibly make it worse by running about in a warm up.

Apparently he had a fitness test before the game on Saturday and did not want to aggravate an old war wound!
