This is just a weird question I suppose.
I am a season ticket holder in the South stand and I noticed that all last season and the start of this season that the O's choose to kick towards our end first half.
I was wondering if anyone knows whether there's any rhyme and reason to this
Thanks in advance

Historically (though someone older and wiser than my 33 years will correct me) and mainly during the 80's and 90's the South Stand was a terrace that held away supporters (though i do remember away fans in all stands at some point). I'm assuming that they chose to kick towards the away supporters first. It's just stuck.
Did you make it to Stevenage and get a ticket? It annoyed me that they switched ends on Saturday and had to kick towards us first.

I do remember the South Stand and the first section of the East stand nearest to the South stand been used for away support many years ago.
I did get to the game on Saturday unfortunately it wasn't a classic but 3 points was a bonus I thought the cross by Moses for Lisbie's goal was first class

It is annoying as I sit in the South Stand and I would prefer them to kick towards us in the second half. At Stamford Bridge they always kick towards the most vocal fans in the Matthew Harding stand 2nd half and the same at Anfield with the Kop end. They did kick towards the South Stand 2 seasons ago but our home form that season was so bad I wonder if they swapped because of this. Still, if Orient keep winning I don't care which end they kick it in at!
