I know the KFC on Leyton high road would be frothing at the bits, I don't think he would be everyone's choice for manager .but definitely a man who gets results and teams promoted as he proved at Boston and Rotherham.it would be funny the man who beat us at Wembley now becomes our boss .i can't see this happening but money talks and bulls*** walks . |

there are worse things, and I have to be blunt.

I imagine they want to give Nugent a chance to string a couple of decent performances together as whoever comes in will be faced with the same situation and there's no guarantee they will do better.

According to the Sun this morning Evans has a 350k buy out clause within his contract according to the report this is for Champoonship or higher
The report also says that Rotherham have had zero communication from Leyton Orient re Steve Evans

Have to say not sure why people dislike him so much other than he looks like a Scottish coach driver and is a bit rough around the edges. But he is a good manager and would certainly sort out Orient. But no one has explained to me why exactly he would want to leave a Championship club and drop down into a League One relegation fight? |

Well,he is possibly a bit of a cheat and liar because he was involved in that dubious financial malarkey with Boston (so long ago now that I can't remember the details). However, the fact is he is very fat and that should be enough in itself because none of us on this board are of the rotund persuasion. Certainly we don't want any obese Caledonian conmen getting us out of Div. 1 (or even - dare I say - keeping us in it).
