Cooled our interest in Steve Evans? as reported yesterday there has never been any communication between Rotherham and Leyton Orient regarding Steve Evans So now Dougie Freedman is in the mix has been Hughton McDermott Jimmy Flloyd Hasslebank plus various others and not forgetting the ongoing debacle with Nugent the bookies must be making a fair old wedge on this For me personally I will wait until an official announcement has been announced by the club

Freedman NewsLooks like Freedman isn't interested in our club......Could it be that the recent handling of our situation from the boardroom level has warned potential managers of any decent experence and ability that they could be in for a stormy ride at E10? Of course the longer it goes on, the bigger the problem becomes. Looks like we could end up taking a chance on a 1st time manager in the end.....If that does happen, I'd at least like to see Matt Lockwood back at E10. Even if we do go down in flames it'll give a very good ex-player a leg-up!

If freedman has rejected us .the board might cast the net out and look elsewhere.chris hughton is still available and so is Mickey adams .but the more this carries on you get the feeling they are going to appoint nugent .

Honestly, at this point I'm not too bothered who they appoint (within reason!)....just as long as they announce it and it's a recognised fact. At the moment, even though he's running things it still looks like he's facing being replaced at any time. That uncertainty must be damaging to him, his authority with the team and the mindset of the team itself. Poor old Nuge must feel like Charlie Brown going to kick that American football, just to have it whipped away again and him ending up on his arse on the ground!

The Board want a head coach to work alongside Milanese in the typical Italian way of working. Problem is that no experienced manager in this country that any of us is likely to put forward as a possible candidate is going to want to change the way they work to fit in with the Italian model.
I would say it's a nailed on certainty to be Nugent or an Italian that we have never heard of. The whole thing is dragging on too long now.

Spot on, we would be one of the richest league one clubs so we should have managers biting our hands off to get our gig,
