Almost lost in everything else yesterday was that the last goal originated with a corner, now often a corner at Orient means you can safely check your phone, blow your nose etc and await the return of normal play. How many can you remember from this and last season and who were the corner takers?

New boy Price took the corner for the second goal Think this season so far McAnuff Pritchard Cox and James have all had a go Personally I like Lloyd James corners they differ in variety Cox either hits it to high to the far post and it usually goes out for a throw in or just hits it with no pace into the box and hopes for the best

There was only ever one corner taker for the O's and that was the great Matty Lockwood but the poor sod had to cover every blade of cross to take them from Right or left side of pitch.

Great at dead ball situations to Orient Legend surely Like a few others,I have been going to the O's since 1960 and have seen many decent players but Locky is my favourite, not just because of his goals, dead ball kicks or attacking ability. For me it was the fact he stuck with the club a long time, through thick and thin,he could have moved on but chose not to. Not only that but he went onto have a short career in the scotish div 1 and prem with Dundee up to the age of 39,a tribute to him and his fitness. A TRUE LEGEND.
