Very disappointed, just cant see all of our players giving him the right amount of respect and therefore losing(if he ever had it)there willingness to perform to a proper level.

Happy with this. He is on a par with anyone else. If he is a success he stays. If not, he gets the boot. There is no guarantee that anyone, whatever their credentials, can do a better job.

On a personal level I really hope Nuge makes it, although obviously I will, like all true supporters, be delighted to subject him to the most excruciating torture if we lose, say, another two games. He has shown ambition in choosing the difficult option, which is to stay with us. While his tenure may well be short whether with us or with Cardiff, he could have taken the cushy route by following that bald-headed double-dealing slimy Northern turncoat out the door.
The king is dead - long live the king.

I like his style in rejecting an alleged offer and not following like a sheep to Wales. Lets give him a chance and get behind the team.

So apparently Nugent states he signed this current contract last Friday but the owners where still looking for candidates on Monday
There has been no official confirmation of this seems strange as it happened 6 days ago
Perhaps I'm reading between the lines but I'm getting to think this interim contract could be anything from 1 day till whenever
Isn't it about time these Italians got there house in order its farcical at the moment

There is still great spirit with the players ,I am sure KN has had a dressing room talk with them ,I think all the players want one thing and that is to do their jobs ie play well ,score and stop goals .KN is part of this and has been at orient a long time ,if the players do well he stays if they fail he gets the boot ,this is football today .I personally hope we do well and climb up the table its not too late to make the play offs but we have to start winning now ,2 wins in our next 2 games and we will all be saying KN is Good for Orient GOODEN has spoken!!!

I hope you are right golden .but the os going with untried managers has only worked once in recent years .when Martin ling was promoted from coach too manager .he got us promoted playing good football .never forget the day at oxford when long got us up .can nugent do the same only time will tell .

Good luck to him. I'll support him until he makes a consistent ball-up then I'll be grumbling along with everyone else. Personally, I think for us to be knocking on the top 6 again by the end of the season we need a manager with a real spark, and unfortunately on past performances Nuge doesn't have that spark at the moment. I hope I'm wrong because if it was just a matter of the level of commitment to a club, then he's one of the most deserving. So to be fair I'll be reserving judgement until he has a mostly fully-fit squad to choose from, and see how he uses that extra authority to make substantive changes tactically. To be honest I'll happily sing his praises if he just-manages to sort out our defence and stop us being so easily caught wrong-footed on the counter attack!

Nugent has been loyal beyond the call of duty to our great club, he deserves a crack at the job lets get behind him and start to climb the table. This season win the JPT and finish top half-ish will do me.
