Woods: 8 Thought he did really well, surely first choice keeper now Cuthbert: 5 Had a bit of mare, gave away stupid penalty and never looked able to deal with the pace Clarke: 7 Had a decent game, suprisingly not exposed for pace as much as I thought, looks like he wanted to play well against his bro Lowry: 6 Better than against Fleetwood but could still have given away a stupid penalty with a flailing arm Sawyer: 7 Goodness, with Dossena breathing down his neck he has certainly upped his game - would still like to see Dossena and Sawyer together on the left Pritchard: 7 Actually more effective than usual on the wing Lundstram: 8 Looked much better than on Saturday, dictated play from midfield Wright: 7 Apart from the horrendous marking for the equaliser had a good game Dagnall: 9 What a fu''king legend Lisbie: 6 Tried as ever but didn't get much of shout Mooney: 8 Looked back to his confident best, scored a good goal and should have scored another if not for their keeper Plasmati (S): 7 Did well when came on, held the ball up and not afraid to shoot on sight, linked well with Dagnall Baudry (S): 7 Played well, broke up play and looked dangerous on the break

Sawyer look good after been out for a while, clarke i think was shakey. Good to see Baudry back. Wright and Lundstram look like they could be a good pairing lets hope we can hold onto lundstram until the end of the season.

What impressed me most about the match last night was that even when we were up against it we still played like a team and never quit. I'm probably in the minority when I say that I think Scotty was unlucky to concede the penalty. Looked like he genuinely played the ball and their man was caught by Scott's trailing leg after the fact. (But I'm not a referee.)

Beckford had the freedom of Preston for that goal sloppy defending yet again but hats off to Gary Sawyer another solid performance much better than Dossenna in that position

Lowry a 6? 4 at best. It should have been him marking Beckford, not Wright, instead he stood around like a spare part marking nobody. Watch the video again guys and ask yourself why a CB would leave the marking of their most dangerous striker to a midfielder, when he's got nobody to mark himself?.
The guy's a disgrace.

Lowry plays better when Clarke is not there. Maybe because in some respects they are similar players.

Yes Lowry should have been on Beckford but why did Wright not get goal side ? That is what you get taught as a kid.

Other instances where i think Lowry is at fault. Goal for Fleetwood, way out of position, should have been closer to Cuthbert. First goal for Peterborough, he steps up to try for offside, but nobody else has, putting himself the wrong side of their attackers, so he can't cut out the cross. First goal for Chesterfield, stands there watching the ball instead of attacking it, leaving their striker to waltz in and score. First goal for Swindon, totally outdone for pace, allowing the cross to come in from which they scored. 2nd goal for Swindon, doesn't go with their runner from midfield, despite Clarke telling him to do so, so ends up marking the space between Clarke and Bartley and the guy scores. 1st goal Barnsley. Watch how the guy Lowry is marking spins away as the ball is played through and Lowry doesn't follow him. He wasn't needed as it turns out, but Lowry lost him completely. Two other goals I noticed where Lowry slides in to block a shot but is going in too low, so shots go straight over him, when he might have been better standing up to the guy. I'm sure you can give me examples of poor defending by Clarke, Baudry and Cuthbert and I'd agree with you, so maybe he is one of our better players, but that really isn't saying much. I thought Lowry was going to be a step up in class when he joined us and that's why I'm so disappointed in him. I've only ever seen him at home games, but his positional play is poor, he's not overly comfortable on the ball and he isn't as good in the tackle as I thought he would be. I'll be sure not to identify myself as the writer of this when I fly into Perth at the weekend, just in case his family are around.

On the plus side, I thought Baudry looked very classy for his cameo role.

Hopefully Baudry has some confidence back, has looked a shadow of the player he was in 2013.

A very good and classy player when he is on form.when he is not up for it he can be a liability.

I thought Mooney was excellent in that game. Our best player IMO.
