There are 2 reasons why teams release players once their contracts have ended
1)..The players are no good
2)..they cant afford their wages
If another league1 team release a player because of a)...why the hell would we want him.....why would we want someone elses rubbish?
The only exception to this is, if a player is released from a higher division, he may make a good league 1 player, but never take someone elses cast offs from our division
