If anything, the League Cup should be restricted to teams not in Europe because as a supporter of a 'big' club the League Cup is possibly a game too far in the season but for a team like Villa to moan about playing in the FA Cup is ridiculous. They have no European commitments and are not in the League Cup so what is Lambert moaning about? Maybe he could actually try and win some silverware for his team rather than just moan about having to play too many games. Wigan fans will have that memory for the rest of their lives regardless of what league they are in . I hope Villa go down now. Rant over!  |

I'm with you Kbola Aston Villa should be going all out to win the FA Cup and get into Europe.
It is a fantastic cup that is watched all over the world, walking out at Wembley on cup final day must be one of the best feelings you can have as a player.
And just imagine Orient getting to a FA Cup final.

I love the FA CUP
it gives a great chance for lower / non league teams to progress and the financial / televised finances can sometimes be a blessing
Paul Lambert needs to take a reality check
Villa are no big deal haven't been for years

You are right faisalo. Lambert is probably jumping with delight now at going out but lose their next fixture and he will be sacked and serve him right I say!
