Baudry was really close but I have to give it to Scott Cuthbert. Brilliant performance at RB and should have scored again the second half.
The whole defence did well and Jakupovic didn't have one shot to save but he looked commanding.

I would of give it to Simpson I thought he ran his socks off today I know no great goalscorer but he is a good team player and seems to be getting better with more game time
Thought the applause he got today when subbed was fantastic

Has anyone got any player ratings they can post?

Oh I keep. away from those ratings as everybody sees the game/performance differently
The main forum has some quite erratic ratings from today's game

Has anyone got any player ratings they can post? Well here is my opinion anyway: Jakupovic 7 Looked solid and commanding although he had almost nothing to do - one note that is probably nothing: in the 2nd half he could have picked up the ball but did some silly Cryuff turn thing which wasn't necessary and I hope he is not one of these 'eccentric' goalies like we see saw Boruc do against the Arsenal. Cuthbert 9 My MOTM - looks as good at RB as CB and stopped everything that went down their left and scored and should have scored again Baudry 8 Up there, Carlisles long balls never looked like going anywhere with Baudry at the back and his distribution was superb Clarke 7 really solid Omosuzi 8 Great performance, should be permanent LB with his performance, made some great runs down the left and defended superbly - one amazing block in the 1st half stopped a clear Carlisle chance when the other defenders had for once let him down Moses 8 a great game, didn't give the ball away as much and linked really well with the midfield James 7 one of his better games Bartley 7 looked really good until he went off Cox 8 Was everywhere and one of those games where you always fancied him to get on the ball and do something special Lisbie 7 A quieter game but as ever was there to tuck it away when needed Simpson 8 I can see why Slade rates him - great worker on the ball, as long as others are finishing he is a good no 10 Ness 8 showed some Premiership quality touches and passes and blasted it from 30 yards to score which is always appreciated Loza 7 Amazingly quick turn of pace but lacks a bit of finesse Coulithingy 8 Great cameo - looks an amazing prospect and I think he will do really well for Orient if given some minutes - scared their defence and GK s***less

Thanks kbola,it looks like everyone is fitting in well.Do you think any of the short term loanees will stay on when the others get fit. Does it matter if Simpson isn't scoring as long as he is contributing something to the team and others are scoring. We really are a hard team to beat this season, fantastic, and so far able to keep the pressure up on the teams around us.

I said in the other thread that Simpson seems to work in the system as long as someone else is scoring - I am sure his goals will come. To be fair Batt didn't score that many but generally made himself useful for the team. As to the loanees - I was very impressed so I would love them to stay but as you say they are all short term loans so I am not sure what Russell Slade's plans are. I would certainly hope the goalkeeper can stay until the end of the season as nobody knows when Jamie Jones will be back. Ness looks like quality but no better than Vincelot in the midfield. The two lads upfront look like great prospects but maybe better coming off the bench to make an impact than starters.
