Cisak 7 Did nothing wrong Judd 6 Certainly has confidence for a youngster but his crossing is dreadful Parkes 7 Solid display Hunt 7 Again solid Kennedy 6 Started well but second half made some mistakes which could have proved costly Massey 7 A decent threat down the right Atangana 6 Better first half, looked knackered second half Weir 5 A better performance from Captain fantastic but faded second half Semedo 4 Looks like a show pony, needs to work on his first touch and passing Simpson 7 A bit greedy as ever but a constant threat to their back line and scored the winner Bowery 5 He's fairly quick but didn't offer much maybe not match fit after his extended time out McCallum 6 Not such a fan, he did his job and wasted time by going down alot and booked for throwing the ball out of the stadium, good header for simmos goal Mezague 5 Looked like a weak link in the defence with some panicked clearances but obviously match rusty Collins 6 Not much time to do anything but kept possession well in the last few minutes Accrington fans 7 Good effort that there only appeared to be 12 of them but they still managed to have a right scrap with eachother and the stewards/old bill

Pretty poor game (against 10 men for over an hour ) but the result was everything. l'm not going to disagree too much with your ratings but I think your comments on Judd are a bit harsh, after all it was his cross that Simpson scored from! Parkes motm for me - kept us from going behind with a good block even before the sending off. Also I must admit that as a non fan of his , I thought McCallum did have an impact when he was brought on for Bowery who was poor once again. As for Weir, I don't share your enthusiasm I'm afraid . I was disappointed that Collins was only on the bench and nothing I saw nothing today from Weir ( or Atangana for that matter) that changed my mind. Nevertheless, well done Andy E and the lads - onwards and upwards ( I hope!)✌

Point taken about Judd, he is only 17 though and still learning, starting 3 matches in a row is a great benefit for the lad.
Yes I agree, Parkes probably edges for me.
I give the benefit of the doubt to Weir but he must improve soon.

I too like Judd's confidence. With 17-year-olds you don't get the finished article after five minutes but the reality is that at the moment, despite all the more experienced pros on our books, we're currently dependent on kids to keep us in contention. There's no doubt that Edwards has got a task and a half on his hands but this was a priceless win.

Weir is an appalling excuse for a footballer. He came to us with a good reputation. Sadly the evidence of what I have seen on this pitch does not bear any resemblance to that. Weir is tactically nieve, positionally awful, he cannot pass the ball, and does not provide any leadership(actually balling out a seventeen year old on Saturday). Both in the Exeter game, and again on Saturday he was playing mostly at centre half! What on earth do our management see in him? Collins is far better, and we still have Moncur to come back

After reading about Kashket and his exile, wonder whether Moore and Moncur being sent out on loan was Billy Smarts idea?
