I think there are more professional deals to come. Edwards (I think it was) had very strong praise for Adamson a couple of week back ....
As Edwards himself said recently, it's just a shame these youngsters aren't two years further down the line.
How our sliding into the Conference at the end of this season would impact the club in terms of the youngsters doesn't bear thinking about. They are under contract but talented players wouldn't want to hang around in that situation.

A three year deal is quite exceptional for a youngster, most get a year, two if they are lucky.
AE and the club must really rate this young guy, Let's hope he keeps developing and turns into a top class footballer.

At the meet the manager meeting Edwards said there's a youngster he believes can go all the way but wouldn't name him..maybe it's Sam.

Like you , I also read that at the MTM meeting Edwards singled out one of the under 18s as having the potential to get to the top. As you say mrb , it may well be Dalby he was referring to.

Judd, Ochieng, Abrahams, Alzate, Koroma, Pollock and Sargeant are all 2years, Moncur 1 year professional deal. Looks like in this current crop 'most' are getting the two year deals, so must all be highly rated.

I wonder how much influence Edwards had on Kane's development in the time he was with the O's.

Is it too early to label him the next Harry Kane? yes it's too early too label him the next Harry Kane .but Edwards knows this kids abilities and is going too bed him in slowly .good debut scored after 4 minutes and was taken off with about 20 minutes too spare .but the future looks good for the os .with so many kids from the youth team being signed up too pro deals .i feel a few will follow in the footsteps of Moses and go on too better things .
