Best performance I've seen at home this season by a mile ( I didn't get to the Stevenage 3-0 game). Master stroke by Andy E to drop both Weir and Simpson - long overdue for both in my opinion. The difference was obvious from minute one with everybody ( yes even McCallum !) looking sharp and fighting for everything. Nervy second half , especially after the Mezague o.g. But no doubt the best side won on the day. Now if only we can produce something similar at Cambridge!
Cisak 6 - bit of a mix up with Mezague for the second ,otherwise pretty sound. Hunt 7 - given the captaincy and led the team well Parkes 7- good solid performance Mezague 5- not too impressed tbh but early days after a long spell out with injury Judd - 6 - was got at a bit when the pressure came on late in the game but battled through Massey - 9 outstanding - especially first half when he roasted the Crawley defence. His best performance in an O's shirt . Collins- 7 - so much better with him in the midfield instead of the crab like Weir Atangana-7- been sub par in recent games but looked a different proposition today Semedo -6- better but still room for improvement especially when tracking back Dalby - 7- so pleased for the boy - Simpson not missed!Took his goal well, McCallum- 8 - not a favourite of mine but earned his wages today helping Dalby and scoring twice.
Bowery 5 - replaced Dalby - did nothing.

Not sure why Bowery came on I would have put Palmer on. First 45 minutes was the best I have seen from us in a long time.

Thanks for the ratings red I didn't attend today though I did listen in on player I see McAllum got his customary red card for stupidness once again Sounded like it was a game of 2 halves though

McCallum got a yellow card for his customary stupidness. In fairness today though his overall performance was a good one . Also I have to add the ref (Trevor Kettle) was about as poor as I've seen in some time. Yeah, very much a game of two halves -if we had not conceded early in the 2nd half , I think the game would have drifted and we might even have got a fourth . As it was the nerves kicked in and made it very tense. Still at least we managed to get through so some sign of improvement at least.

In defence of McCallum I didn't think it was a yellow. It was the best I have seen him play in a while.

Maybe being the senior forward today played a part, but the main improvement for me today was he looked totally up for it which sometimes doesn't look the case.

I would only say that I think Bowery did not do much but he was asked to drop deep and break up play and he did OK taking the ball to the corner flags towards the end so maybe I would give him 6. I think Nicky Hunt is very good as Captain, his experience is just about getting the defence through you can see him directing and shouting at the youngsters all game.

Might be that now he has seen Edwards is prepared to leave Simpson, Bowery & Palmer out and play a 17 year old instead he will roll up his sleeves and battle to keep his place. I hope so because when he is in the right frame of mind he can be a handful for defenders.

Also maybe 6 for Mezague his distribution is poor and he scored an OG but he looks like a competent defender at times and hopefully will come good (although I think we said that about Essam aswell...)

Yeah, I will give Teddy Boy the benefit of the doubt given his lengthy lay off with injury and the fact he has come into a team low on confidence. It seems clear that Edwards views him as the first choice to partner Parkes with Erichot and Pollock very much as back up.

10 out of 10 for all of them from me. A tremendous team performance rehearsed by Edwards and Webb. Bring on Cambridge United.

But then again Mcallum should have buried a header to make it 4-1 AND we should Definitely have had a penalty when Massey was clearly brought down.just about deserved the victory
