Fortunate to get a point as we played second fiddle to a big , strong Cambridge outfit who were well drilled throughout the game. Demonstrated perfectly how important the flying start we got against Crawley was . Still the Ollie Palmer late show made it feel like a win.
Cisak 6 - no chance with the goal but he could command his area better Judd 6 - did OK against a good opponent Mezague 6- improved display but had to come off injured after 35 minutes Parkes 7- battled hard and put in a solid performance when we were under the cosh Hunt 6- steady if unspectacular Massey 6- could'nt back up his performance against Crawley but did OK Collins 8 MOTM - must have earned a contract extension today surely Atangana 4 - badly off the pace today - might as well have played Weir! Semedo 5- might have done better with a couple of opportunities- took a knock with about 15 mins to go and came off Dalby 6 - some nice touches but Cambridge defence marshalled him much better than Crawley did. Came up limping after a tackle early in the second half and was subbed McCallum 6 - as per Massey
Subs- Palmer 7 what trouble we did cause to Cambridge in the second half was usually due to him and of course he scored Erichot 6 -better - came under pressure especially during 15 minute spell midway through the second half but no big mistakes Koroma 6 - looked a bit lightweight but played his part for the short time he was on

Good ratings redintheface ive got to say I'm getting more and more frustrated with Semedo every week. Yes he just does'nt seem to have progressed at all and is still making the same errors as when he started. I'm sure if we still had Cornick ( or could get a decent left sided attacking player as a replacement) he would be out of the first team and backing up Kennedy at left back.

Yes very true I'm pretty sure we used to have a decent left sided player at the club.

Any worries about relying on youth players Judd, Semedo and Dalby? They have talent for sure but can you stay up with kids in the squad week in week out?

Personally, I would be concerned if we had to rely on any more than two or three in the team at any one time. Trouble is so many of the supposedly senior players are below par for whatever reason , AE has had his hand forced.
