Leyton Orient chairman Barry Hearn says he is starting to dream of promotion to the Championship.
The O's climbed back to the top of League One after a 2-1 win at Crewe on Saturday and now have a five-point cushion between them and Wolves in third.
Speaking to Absolute Radio's Rock 'N' Roll Football with Ian Wright, Hearn said: "I've been dreaming about it for 19 years.
"I mean the thought of a club like Leyton Orient going with our budget, the size of our club, and all the issues going round the Olympic stadium, you start to get almost religious.
"You think the man upstairs is actually looking down at you and saying, do you know what, you deserve to have a good year mate so in you go. And you know we are looking at it.
"I don't want to get carried away but you can't help being excited because you wouldn't be in football to start with if you didn't have that passion, you didn't want to win, would you? So you know we just keep our fingers crossed."

I think your both right in a way.Having Uncle Barry is like saying better the devil you Know than the one you don't. His PR skills are second to none.I've met him a few times and he always remembers me and manages to have some sort of conversation with me.

The funny thing is with the season of wonder we are having, I still play it down with my Mates in the Pub. The quotes of ``your lot look like they are going up`` and ``you look certain for promotion`` is met with the reply. ``Oh its a long way to go yet`` and ``looking good at the moment but with have such a small squad it will take some doing``. When is it all right for an Orient Fan to say ``yea nailed on we are the best``?

Seems like a decent bloke, I met him once outside the ground. But still not convinced by his 'little leyton orient' speel about the OS. Orient will be fine regardless of what the Shammers do, it is hardly like all the Orient fans now come from a mile from the ground is it?

I've got to admit I'm the complete opposite, after the first 5-15 games I was shouting from the roof tops, annoying all my friends on facebook and preaching the word on emails that "we are going up singing we are going up" when I got the usual comments that its way to early to start saying that I just replied of course it is but after supporting the Os for a bloody long time just let me have this moment to enjoy, only recently I'm really starting to think the unthinkable and believing what i'm saying.

I suppose a lot of us are just plain old cynics but personally I am starting to believe.I would just like 2or 3 wins against any of the promotion hopefuls and I think we will be on our way and there are some biggies coming up!

I'm waiting for the bubble to burst, this seems too good to be true.
