Welcome bob
Jeez you make me feel like a teenager as I have been supporting the O's for a measly 38 years
It has been a fantastic season so far and no matter how it pans out I will be in my same old seat next season

Welcome leytonorientbob. It's all good clean fun and the punter's on here seem like good chaps and just want to talk about Orient or indeed football in general. As for myself I'm a lifer of 54 yrs through thick and thin(mostly thin)but I've looked at the O's 2 ways.One--they are a charity case and when I part with my money and get nothing back then that's the way it is.Two--Orient behave very much like a family , with good times and bad times, they can make you cry, loose your temper and kick furniture, stay out late for extra time or spend too much money supporting them. Then the good times on the odd occasion always feel twice as good because we're just not used to it.I've never left a match early, even when it's complete crap because, like a family you have to stay to the bitter end and suffer or celebrate the same as all the players, staff and fans should.

Hi Bob. I'm 40 years in to a life sentence of supporting the O's (no chance of parole or remission). But, when it all finally comes right, isn't it all worth it?

Have been to quite a few Adelaide games but as much as i wan't them to win it still can't compare to the emotions when following the mighty Os, especially staying up at 3am listening and watching live blogs on a Saturday night. Still enjoyable anyway, watch most A league games on tv, have enjoyed watching Del piero since he came over and one of our old boys Richard Garcia. Do you follow Sydney?

Yeah pal, massive Sydney fc fan, actually flying to Melbourne this weekend for the big derby game. But yeah is a different kettle of fish in uk, certainly opened my eyes to the difference. Do enjoy the late late late Saturday nights listening to the o's.
