I knew John for the best part of 30 years, a quiet man but had a burning passion for the O's. John had no close family still alive, Orient was his family who he cared and loved so very much. Barry spend that money how you see fit that's what John would have wanted. This Saturday raise a glass for the one and only John Burman, God rest his soul.

As long as Barry doesn't spend it on Darts or Ping Pong

I wonder if I ever saw him in the bar.

I flit in and out of the South Stand Bar but I keep a low profile being a man of mystery.
If I had to guess Lexi O I would say you are the bloke with the wooden peg legs and hooks for hands? Must be hard to hold drinks.

Didn't know the guy, but having now swwn his picture, i've recognised him about the place. It really is a fantastic gesture. Whilst i'd love to see the money thrown into the wages pot, it'd be nice to have something made / done that is a bit more permanent.
