I used to be a proud Englishman many years ago but I doubt we will ever be a reasonable force in the world again unless perhaps the rules change. Watching two of our top teams on Monday you may have noticed only 3 England players on the pitch. How on earth are we ever going to be a half decent side again. Several other countries have to have a certain amount of home grown talent in their teams(Holand 4 Belgium 5 for eg). Does anyone really care about international footie any more?

Can't wait to see Adnan Januizank in an England shirt! Let's find some Brazilians or whoever who have an English granny.

There will always be one or two promising english younger players coming through the ranks but I agree MaylandOs untill the rules are changed I doubt in my lifetime England will ever have more than handful of world class players and will be a force in world football. Have not watched a 90 minute England match in a long time, just painful to sit through.

I also find it strange that as soon as the world cup comes round English "Stars" suddenly want to play.Could it be they don't want to miss out on some money opportunity perhaps!
