No. That only happens if an appeal is considered to be frivolous. This wasn't frivolous. In fact, they are really unlucky.

don't think unlucky comes in to it , they tried with an appeal and failed should have left it at that , the thing is it went to appeal and they lost ,so they tried arbitration also lost on that , if they had won, that would have set a new precedent and all clubs would have tried it on ,the truth is carrol got sent off without doubt for violent conduct,the other player should have been booked for simulation or overplaying the cello,and until players stop all the diving and play acting its always going to be this way,and managers should be held more to account for there players actions,amazing how they never see it if its there player,and always see it if its an opposing player, so lets have some truth out there,from both players and managers ,and stop blaming the ref for there decisions as we all know the ref reviewed the decision on video and came to the same decision ,so end of ,carrol 3 match ban ,get over it west ham .
