Think we have just run out of steam.......rather like the marathon runner who starts too fast, and then runs out of steam before the winning post.
We will still make play offs, but I couldnt fancy us to beat Peterbro or Rotherham over 2 legs

Stop it. Win Tuesday and we go back top. Simple. First time all season we've had two bad performances back to back.
We will bounce back.

Tuesday could be seen as a must win game, as we have Preston on Saturday. Also on Wednesday Brenford are at Sheffield United, which could go either way

Slade will definitely learn from these mistakes. I suspect we've see the last of Simpson, but not because of his failings but because we'll be more cautious now. Slade will have twigged that we are not invincible and that we cannot simply keep scoring more goals to win games; we need to know when to shut shop. We're strong at the back (give or take the odd goalie), so I expect a more grinding end to the season. We'll still go up in second place, mind - we've had our wobble now, and the other two are yet to.

I think we have come up against two teams who were half a yard faster than us and both seemed to adapt to the conditions better. The pitch at Brisbane road was very wet and although there was a no standing water the ball seemed to stick at times, particularly not suitable for Moses speed down the wing. Our team like to play one touch passing football and the conditions have not suited. Problem is Tuesday is forecast yet more rain. I think, hope we will come good again soon but need to grind out some results during the adverse weather conditions.

Agreed.I can't believe the teams around us won't drop more points themselves this season. We all have at least sixteen games to play yet so if they do go unbeaten, fair enough, they deserve to go up.
