4-4-1-1
We never got to grips with it today, Ajose dropped deep off Assombolonga, and both Baudry & Clarke didn't know whether to go with him, meaning with cox and Moses playing wide the midfield pairing of Vincelot & James were at times seriously over-run, Slade IMHO should of brought on Bartley or Ness when Mooney went off to add a bit of steel in the middle
But hey-ho, KEEP THE FAITH

So would you say Slade was tactically outdone today? He is a bit rigid with the 442 at times.

Their left back did a job on Moses today also, marked him out of the match.

The best left back odubajo has played against this season he wasn't more than 2-3 yards away from him the whole game. Stuck to his game plan and FairPlay and agreed their formation spooked us we were over run on occasions.

Agree posh' formation was spot on, Moses marked out the game and no cover in front of back 4, got what we deserved today I think. When we played them at there place, we was miles better man for man all over the pitch, think either fatigue is setting in, or the belief is slipping away!

I thought we were always going to struggle playing Mooney and Dagnall together up front today, as neither is a natural target man who can hold the ball up. This and the Boro full backs closing down Cox and Moses meant too often we were on the back foot and second to any loose balls in midfield. That said, when Lisbie came on I thought we looked more secure and there were a couple of good pieces of link up play between Lisbie & Mooney and it was normal business resumed. The two Boro goals were from Orient errors, the first from a stupid free kick and Cuthbert losing his man in the box and the second from Vincelot trying to play it out rather than launching it. On a positive note I thought Lisbie looked more mobile today than he has since early December, so the injection looks like it worked.
