Slade has assembled an excellent team by paying extra for quality , forgoing quantity. This makes sense especially if you can get top class youngsters cheaply on loan. I am though mystified by his decision not to play them .The best football seen at home was when loza and coolthirst led the line against Carlisle , with loza on one run looking like laurie Cunningham and the latter getting a good goal. The result , neither to be seen again , with coolthirst back to spurs. We need an infusion of pace and skill , which those two have in abundance, not the endless headless chicken running of the likes of simpson.
