In saving money I've switched from Lavazza Ground to Tesco French Blend. Half the price and quite nice actually.

I detected that as well, I think we really annoyed him by having a go about Shwan Jalal and his judgement was so wrong that he knows it cost us points.

Is it not obvious, I would be unhappy too that I am not getting due respect from some of our idiots that purport to support our club.
Look at the League tables up and down the country, Slade is simply the best manager there is, or there has been and probably there ever will be.

I'd say the Jalal business definitely got to him. I can understand that as he is doing the best he can, and by undermining the players we are undermining him. But that's the way football is everywhere these days, and they'll be like that at his next club as well. Fans - owners too of course - have got very little patience threshold. Having said that, when I started watching the O's back in the 60s, people were moaning their heads off then.

After the Bristol City game the fans didn't send Jalal back, Russell did. The fans didn't re-sign Jakupovic, Russell did. Fans and management are not too disimilar. Did cringe at the ironic cheering when Jalal caught one and don't agree with the treatment he got. |
