He's only on loan, not even our player so what the f***k could ML do about it if he doesn't want to play for us ! You make him an offer he can’t refuse. Simple. I agree dis. All this “what can he do” stuff gives me the right hump. What you do is go out, try, compete, get creative, make an effort, sell. We all know in the end it may come to nothing, especially if a decent L1 club comes along (or Ebbsfleet) but Ling can do lots. Not rocket science. If you want someone go do what it takes to increase the chances.

Someone with bigger pockets, friend recommends different team, doesn’t like someone at this club or the role he is expected to play, there are countless things that could stop him coming to us. I’m sure Ling will be doing all he can to land him within the budget set by the owners. Whether it is good enough we will all have to wait and see.

I agree, no matter what we do he still may choose to go elsewhere, that’s life and I’m not suggesting otherwise. What I’m disagreeing with is the concept that Ling can do nothing to prevent it. He can try all sorts of things. We may lose him but at least I hope Ling puts up a fight.

Than if the DoF doesn't cock up any conversations about a more permanent situation than this class of player may want to stay.Sees the owners as stable, gets paid regularly and not having the PFA bailing out the players not being paid every 5 minutes. Than O's may be a goer for him.Who knows?

Let’s hope Ling doesn’t feck this one up again. He's only on loan, not even our player so what the f***k could ML do about it if he doesn't want to play for us ! No need for obscenities in propagating your point. ‘Cudgel thy brains, no more about it.’ Hamlet
