Had Peter Beagrie and the normal football league presenter can't remember his name.
they get into reviewing league 1 and the action from the weekend.
peter refers to our goal scorer as "matty James"...
presenter says " I can't help think that leyton orient will be the ones to miss out..." And then talks up Rotherham as a real possibility to get into the top 2.
I like this level expectation re our promotion chances. Somewhere between none and hardly any. Preston and Rotherham play each other tomorrow which is good news. Plenty of twists and turns yet but feel quietly confident or perhaps that's my eternal optimistic nature kicking in?

I'm quite liking the fact that we're being totally dismissed despite being top and the highest goal scorers in the division.
Let the Bees and Wolves have all the limelight. I'm happy with that.
Wolves are celebrating like they've won the league already. They're good, but that's a bit premature.

Due to the 3 losses the expectancy levels went back to that of previous seasons. Now we literally have nothing to lose we are smaller than clubs we are vying with size wise money wise squad wise. So glad brentford lost their unbeaten streak too they were long overdue a wobble

On TalkSport earlier they were discussing good British managers doing amazing jobs at clubs.
Many mentions of Burnley and Brentford and even Wolves (er why? they are a massive club for League One) but Orient and Slade not mentioned even once.
Pathetic.
I think if Orient get promoted it will not even be reported.

I watched this and he actually said we are the 'odd ones out' peter beagerie made himself look like a clown.
It amazes me that after years of struggle, Brentford are all of a sudden a big club because of the investment in their squad. Brentford aren't actually a bigger club than us, it's purely down to their chairman having very ambitious plans with a new stadium etc.

We're top for a reason, havent left the top 3 all season...and even 3rd place was only for a few weeks, top scorers, one of the best defensive records, but everyone is writing us off, most teams we beat or draw with seem to say it was more due to them being awful than us being good...and on the 1st March we could have 70 points on the board already. Let them snipe all they want, Russ and the boys have had it all season, and it's done them no harm at all...as Keegan would say, come May I would LOVE IT if we're in that top 2 and everyone of them has to eat their words.
