Jakopovic - Motm. Quick throws. Great saves start of second half, solid as always. Different class and the best goalkeeper I have seen in league 1 this season. Not even 1 dodgy sliced left foot kick this week.
omuzusi - did ok but has played so consistently at left back he seemed to lose his way on occasions.
sawyer - he is our weak link but this was a better performance than v Bristol City where he was truly awful.
cuthbert - similar to omuzusi it can be easy playing in a different positon but he never missed a tackle and strong in the air.
clarke - close to Motm for me. Typical Clarke.
cox - never really got in the game unselfish as always but was quiet.
odubajo - our outlet. Pace and a great finish. 3rd best player today behind Eldin and Clarke.
vincelot - I mentioned in a thread last week the fact he is on 9 cautions. He looked to be limping at some stages of the game with his ankle. Walsall away and Oldham at home after the brentford game so getting booked against the brentford and having a 2 game rest might not be a bad thing? He looks knackered. Not sure whether the booking is playing on his mind and / or he is carrying a knock.
james - the game passed him by like it did vincelot. Our 2 central midfielders lost the battle today and we always atruggle against teams that have 5 midfielders. Sears was dropping deep and they were passing in triangles around us.
lisbie - love him to bits but him and mooney don't have the energy to close down the centre halfs like dagnall does. I don't feel he deserves his place in the team - dagnall and batt arguably deserve their chance. Again like vincelot a couple of weeks on the bench to come back refreshed for the final 9-10 games might not be a bad thing.
mooney - quality finish. His constant falling over is getting a joke now though.
We we were fortunate today. 2 quality goals were the difference. They had majority of the possession and more corners.
that said, it's a sign of a good team that can win playing not at their best. the keeper is making a huge difference he is genuine class and if he keeps playing like this which we need, there will be plenty of championship teams ( going for promotion to the prem league unlike us if we go up) that will come in for him in the summer....
