Post mortem time Average performance great result gained ground on bees our superior gd is tantamount to an extra point If you were a neutral and came to watch the game you would think we were the middle of the table team and U's were going for the top six. They gave it there best shot and probably should have won.We got our goal and tried to sit back and control the game and save energy for harder weeks to come.Nearly came unstuck. An exiting final 10-15 mins saved the game from being average. The U's fan's were very loud and proud, credit to them for that but it took O's fan's a long time to put some real atmosphere into the game for some reason. O's look quite jaded at times and they will have to battle for every point for the rest of the season,no matter who the opposition is.

Spoke to a Colchester fan. He said Colchester performance has been up and down this season but considered they played reasonably well against Orient and should avoid the drop now that they have determination to win. They have players who can hold the ball but lack the ability to score and said Jabo was the best he had seen him play this season. Also said he wished they had Lisbie and Clarke still. Like Orient they are stapped for cash.
