Sadly Bill Turnbull,broadcaster and Wycombe fan has died of prostate cancer aged 66.The best presenter Classic FM ever had.He did give up due to his health issues but he came back a few weeks ago for a fond farewell I suppose.Always a delight to listen to with his wonderful tone of voice and charm. I will miss listening to Bill on Saturday and Sunday. RIP Bill and thank you. He was a terrific presenter and one of the rare public figures you genuinely couldn’t think of anything he said or did which was disagreeable. RIP. |

Ernie Shavers has passed away aged 78 cause unknown at present. Ernie is attributed to having one of if not the hardest punch in heavyweight history.

Just come back from one and half hours of revision for my railway exam at the end of the month turned onto CBS news as I couldn't get Sky News.
My heart sank a bit.

Money (especially banknotes) and stamps will look a bit strange. So will singing/listening to the national anthem.
I've got to say I feel a little bit sad today.
I've always wondered, with all their money, none of them are fat.

You can still go to the cabin where she grew up and get a tour by her extended family for five dollars if you’re willing to travel all the way to Van Lear in the eastern hills of Kentucky.
